Hi all, I just wanted to let you know about the annual peasant tournament we have here, since you asked about it last year. The 32 slots for it sold out, but only 17 people showed up. I'm guessing other players were either tired or confused by the time (midnight on Friday, which was actually Thursday night). The top 5 decks were: 1. Mono Black Control (devotion) 2. UB Thopter Control 3. UR Countertop 4. Thermo Burn 4. Affinity I have the mono black list, along with my thermo burn list. I'm waiting for thopter control and countertop, then I'll post the 4 lists on mtgtop8. There's also been some talk of starting a monthly peasant tournament at one of the stores here if we get enough interest, and I can share some of the lists if we ever do that. |
