No there was no luck involved. We are simply lacking in the goal-making department. Löw brought only on real scorer to the tourney and he was injured while you have Giroud and Griezmann. Germany has a lot of great players to generate very scary situations for the opponent but no real finisher. It's a problem of the last few years and it won't be solved soon cause on the one hand Löw does not seem to want a scorer and two there are no good scorers he could bring. We have the best goalie, the best defence and a great midfield but we are lacking severly in the scoring department! |
